Sankt Andreasberg is embedded in the Harz national park. This provides ideal conditions for hiking, biking, fishing and skiing. The summer toboggan run can be reached from the apartment for a short walk. From Sankt Andreasberg you can great day trips to Braunlage (12 km), Bad Lauterberg (12 km) Clausthal-Zellerfeld (21 km) and Bad Harzburg (25 km). Goslar, Wernigerode and Quedlinburg can be reached in about 40 minutes. The A395 is easily reachable in 35 minutes the A7 motorway in 40 and the A38 in 50 minutes by car.
